I also met Adelene while working at the Circuit Clerk's office. She was an amazing woman of faith who touched all of our hearts. I'll always remember her laugh and her ability to put smiles on the faces of everyone she met. My thoughts and prayers are with the familes of this lovely lady and may each of you find comfort in knowing her cheerful spirit will live on in so many.

I met Adelene Wilson at the Muhlenberg County Circuit Clerk's office years ago. Adelene was our maintenance worker and did daily cleaning of our office for many years. It was her smile and the light around her that drew me to her. I knew this tall lovely lady was a Child of God. Adelene, over the years that I knew her prayed many a prayer for me and my family. In the past few years Adelene became my prayer warrior. She remained stedfast in the work of the Lord and encouraged others to seek the Truth. I will be glad in the Lord and feel very blessed to have had such a friend like Adelene.

To all who mourn the loss of Adelene. You are in our prayers. John 14:1-4 “Let not your hearts be troubled. Believe in God; believe also in me. In my Father’s house are many rooms. If it were not so, would I have told you that I go to prepare a place for you? And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and will take you to myself, that where I am you may be also. And you know the way to where I am going.” 1 John 3:1-2 See what kind of love the Father has given to us, that we should be called children of God; and so we are. The reason why the world does not know us is that it did not know him. Beloved, we are God’s children now, and what we will be has not yet appeared; but we know that when he appears we shall be like him, because we shall see him as he is. Psalm 116:15 Precious in the sight of the LORD is the death of his saints.

Beautiful memories of my loving aunt have always filled my heart. I remember visiting the farm and standing at the counter, baking with her, as a child. We have all moved in different directions but the memories stayed. I see a red velvet cake and I can’t help but think of her. She was a messenger of Christ’s love and there was no doubt He filled her heart. I feel comfort in knowing I will see her again one day beside the One she loved most. My heart is with my mother as she misses her sister and the entire Wilson family as they grieve the loss of someone they all loved dearly. May God’s love and peace surround you.

Adelene never met a stranger. She had so much love in her heart for people. No matter what race, rich or poor, she felt everyone is God's child. She spread God's Word to all who would listen and hoped to see everyone in heaven. She was a loyal servant and a beautiful sister. I shall love my sister forever and I will see her again in Heaven because of the beautiful gift Jesus has given us. Judy Knight Devine (Sister) Owensboro, Kentucky

Adelene was such a joyous and God loving woman. She shared her love of God so many times with me. I will never forget her impact on my relationship with Jesus. Nor will I ever forget Christmas at her house as a child. Adelene and her brother, my uncle Kenneth sang so beautiful together. There was always good food, singing, laughter and love when Adelene was around. I will cherish the childhood memories I have of her. She was a beautiful lady inside and out. I know I will see her again in Heaven one day. May God comfort all the family at this time of great loss. In Loving Memory of beautiful Adelene Wilson Melissa Devine Hamilton Owensboro, Kentucky
