CLARKSVILLE, TN – Willie Mae Armour Loving, 88, of Clarksville, TN, died Sunday, January 11, 2026 at Park Meadows Nursing Home in Clarksville, TN. Ms. Loving was born on August 14, 1937 in Lincoln County, KY. She accepted Christ at an early age and served faithfully until the departure from this life. She was a member of North East Baptist Church in Clarksville, TN and had worked as a Custodial Supervisor for TVA. She enjoyed spending time outdoors, and working with her flowers. She was fond of decorations and decorating, especially for Christmas. She was a former Eastern Star member. She served as past Matron of Magnolia #84, Drakesboro, KY, and District Deputy-Grand Matron for Western District. She served in that position under the leadership of several past Grand-Worthy Matrons. She was a former Queen of Western District, and following her marriage to past Grand-Master, Thomas Stanley Loving, she demitted to Lily White #132 of Ft. Campbell, KY. She loved the order and traveled to various cities and several states in support of the Order. She enjoyed wearing beautiful hats and dressing up. She was very involved in her church and sang in the choir. She loved her family, church family, her Eastern Star family and Masonic family. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Edward Armour; second husband, Thomas Loving; parents, Elbert and Gertrude Patton; brothers, Emmett Patton, and William Patton; and sisters, Kathryn Haire, Oline Miller, Addie B. Arnold, Anna Patton, and Alma Janet Garrett.
She is survived by her nieces, Beverly “Bev Bev” Miller, and Gertrude Spalding; and nephew, Millerd P. West; sister, Ann Graves; brother, Charles Graves; adopted daughter, Deny Gonzalez; special friends, Dorothy “Dot” Smith, and Sandra Nash, and a host of nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be Monday, January 19, 2026 at 1PM at Tucker Funeral Home in Central City with Pastor Tom Hughes officiating. Burial in Townsend Grove Cemetery in Logan County.
