CENTRAL CITY- William “Billy” Douglas Watkins, 55, of Central City died Friday, November 24, 2017 at the Heartford House in Owensboro. Mr. Watkins was born in Chicago on September 15, 1962. He was worked as a logger for Smith Logging and was a member of Neils Chapel Church. Mr. Watkins loved all outdoor activities such as hunting and fishing. He enjoyed a special relationship with his grandson, Brandon. Mr. Watkins was preceded in death by his father, William E. Watkins and a grandson Allen Matthew Key Survivors include his wife, Kathy; daughters, Chelsie (William) Crick, Nickie Watkins, Kara (Tyler) Dukes; mother, Ida Janice Watkins; grandson, Brandon Key; sister, Gloria (Tim) Coats; brother, Joey Watkins; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, November 28, 2017 at 11:00 AM at Tucker Funeral Home in Central City with Bro. Mike Graber officiating and Bro. Joey Todd assisting.
