I was sorry to learn of Bill's death too late to attend the funeral. He led quite a colorful life and undoubtedly had many friends in the Central City area who were there to share good memories of his life. Bill was my second cousin. My great-grandfather, George Washington Dennis, was his grandfather. Gary Wiggins

Bill, where do I begin. You were always my hero. My appreciation of your unconditional love for me is beyond words. We shared so much love, happiness, and pain. Your love for my grandmother was unbelievable. I watched you sit by her bed in Louisville Hospital for five weeks, and you never left her side. I could go on and on with stories that you have told me. The pink panther bike was one of my favorites, or the time at Dennis Market when I told you that I don't listen to anybody but my momma. I will miss those stories so much. I am happy to know that today, Dec 19th, you are in Heaven with mimi on her 80th birthday. Every year on this day, you would say "Nik, you know what today is, don't ya?" You were a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, uncle, and friend to everyone that I know. I am so sorry that I couldn't visit more often. I know that you would not want me to beat myself up over this. You would always tell me that I should focus on my own little family at home. You were so unselfish, and never asked for anything. Thank you for making our lives special. Love you always, Your Nikademus

My dear Uncle Bill....I'm going to miss you SOOO very much!! To hear that just a few weeks ago you were 'seeing' Auntie Myn....well, THAT brings me comfort beyond mere words! Yes, she was likely letting you know it was nearly time to come "home" and rest with her....that your race had been won...your course was finished. Praise be!! Those streets of gold were beckoning! AND ohhhhh-- how I can see the two of you now lounging in your mansion ...I'm SURE she's happy there's someone there to make GOOD coffee once again. :D You always said she never "could" brew the coffee as expertly as you could. LOL!!!! (and yours was BETTER) But her divinity was absolutely...well...."divine!" What an AWESOME pair the two of you ALWAYS MADE together....I can only sit back and beam in "LOVE" at the very thought. I MISS you both so much it simply makes my heart ache....yet...I KNOW that someday soon, I'll see you again....AND what a glorious day that will be. Take care of one another Unc... Hugs and kisses!!! AND..tell our sweet darlin Myn "Happy Birthday"....and how much we LOVE her....and STILL think of her every year.....phooey...every day. OH, she'll know.... she'll know.. :)
