BELTON – William Larry “Bubbles” Baxter, 66, of Belton, died Wednesday, March 5, 2014 at 7:12PM at Muhlenberg Community Hospital. Mr. Baxter was born December 14, 1947 in Muhlenberg County. He was a unit operator at TVA and a member of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers. He was a member of Martwick Baptist Church and a U.S. Navy veteran. He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Mildred Baxter. Survivors include his wife, Marilyn Rager Baxter; son Larry Anthony (Tammaron) Baxter of Alaska; grandchildren Cameran Baxter and Kaitlyn Baxter; step-sons Ricky Young and Tim (Jayne) Young, both of Georgia; seven step-grandchildren; sisters Anna Jean Baxter Vincent of South Carrollton and Nancy (Jimmy) Milligan of Central City; niece Mary (Faro) Caskey of Central City; four nephews; and two nieces. Funeral services will be Tuesday, March 11, 2014 at 2:00PM at Tucker Funeral Home in Central City, with Bro. Robert Baxter Sr. officiating and Rev. Allen Black assisting. BREMEN – William Edward Baxter, 82, of Bremen, died Tuesday, July 12, 2011 at his residence. Mr. Baxter was born January 19, 1929 in Muhlenberg County. He was a retired press operator with Green River Steel and of the Presbyterian faith. He was a U.S. Navy veteran. Survivors include his wife, Lucille Baxter; daughter Ann (John) Stewart of Lexington; son Charles Edward (Faye) Baxter of Bremen; grandchildren Teresa Peveler (David) Short of Madisonville, Jason Baxter of Dallas, TX, and Charles Baxter Jr. of St. Louis, MO; and great-grandchildren Seth Peveler, Noah Short, Jeremiah Short, and Grant Baxter.
