CENTRAL CITY – Tommy Ray Amos, 78, of Central City died Wednesday, July 14, 2021 at 2:10 p.m. at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital. Tommy was born April 1, 1943 in Muhlenberg County and was a sample person at Goodyear in Madisonville. He was also a member of Calvary Missionary Baptist Church and was a United States Army veteran. He was preceded in death by his wife Janice Amos; brother Jimmy, Jesse and Wayne Amos and parents Bennett and Dolly Majors Amos.
Survivors include his sons Tony Keith (Kim) Amos, Jerry Ray (Stephany) Amos; grandchildren Steven and Christopher Taylor, Autumn Vick, Dustin and Branden Amos; great-grandchildren Finnegan Taylor, Gideon Fender.
Funeral services will be Saturday, July 17, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. at Tucker Funeral Home with Bro. Steve Latham officiating. Burial to follow in Rose Hill Cemetery with military honors.
