I did not know this family. but I have read many wonderful stories of them. I have sit an watched several videos posted on the web. The many smiles they had on their faces that I will never forget. My heart is heavy today as I sit here weeping tears of sorrow for the surviving two and their families and friends. This has really hit our community hard. I pray that God will comfort all of the breaking hearts here in our county and others in this Nation that has been touched in some way. Some how and some way God will make it possiable for the surviving to continue on as he has planned. I'm sure they will continue to touch many lives on this journey their on. It is over whelming to see how many people have given their love ,concern, and prayers at this time of need. There are NO words to explain how sorry I am. I just thank God that he has given us everlasting life. One day I will see those smiling faces again along with my loved ones that have already passed. Continued prayers for comfort!

Although I do not know you, as a person who grew up in Kentucky, this tragic loss is something beyond comprehension. To lose a child is the greatest grief one can experience but to lose a mother, a wife, and so many children all at once is tragedy beyond compare. May God hold you close to his heart, surround you with his love, envelop you with the faith that has held you steadfast thus far and may the memories of those you have lost help to fill the void that those who have lost know cannot be filled. My deepest and most sincere condolences on your losses.

Muhlenberg County will never be the same. This has touched everyone's lives and hearts in some way. Good things have and will come from this tragedy. Even though I don't know you personally, I continue to pray daily for all of this beautiful family. From the photos and wonderful things I have heard, this is a God loving family and he will see them through this and provide the peace that only he can. My Mom who lives just a few mikes away placed 9 flowers there for the 9 beautiful angels. Life here is only a vapor, eternity is what matters. They have received the ultimate prize, their mansions in their eternal home. God bless all of this precious family. Prayers from here in Indiana.

God's Lent Child "I'll lend you for for a little while A child of mine," God said, "For you to love the while she lives, And mourn for when she's dead, It may be six or seven years or twenty-two or three; But will you, til I call her back take care of her for me? She'll bring her charms to gladden you And (should her stay be brief) You'll have her loving memories as solace for your grief. I cannot promise she will stay Since all from earth return; But there are lessons taught below I want this child to learn. I've looked the whole world over In my search for teachers true; And the things that crowd life's lane I have chosen you. Now will you give her all your love? Nor think the labor vain? Nor hate me when I come to take This lent child back again? I fancied that I heard them say, "Dear Lord, Thy will be done. For all the joys Thy child will bring. The risk of grief we'll run. We will shelter her with tenderness. We'll love her while we may, And for the happiness we've known Forever grateful stay But should thy angel call for her Much sooner than we've planned, We'll brave the bitter grief that comes And try to understand." -----Anonymous

Sending prayers of love, sympathy and compassion to the Family of these precious souls that were taken too soon. Finding words of comfort are difficult because the reality of this tragedy is still sinking in. My thoughts and prayers have been with this Family since I heard the news. Please know you are surrounded by a community that loves and cares for you. May you find some semblance of comfort and peace in the many many precious memories you have.May God heal and comfort Chad and Kylie as they recover.
Theresa and Randy Creager left a message on February 5, 2014:
There are no words of comfort that we can share that will take the pain away but do want the family to know that you are in our prayers. It's been a long time since Chad was in our little Mission Friends class but looking at those photos of those beautiful children brings back his little red headed freckled face so clearly that it seems like only yesterday. Prayers that the memories you all have of your children will help fill your hearts.

I am praying for your family. I pray that God will give you guys comfort. I pray that God will surround you with his love and his word. God is able. God is in control. Psalm 121 is one my favorite Psalms. Please see below, may God keep and bless you. A song of ascents. 1 I lift up my eyes to the mountains— where does my help come from? 2 My help comes from the Lord, the Maker of heaven and earth. 3 He will not let your foot slip— he who watches over you will not slumber; 4 indeed, he who watches over Israel will neither slumber nor sleep. 5 The Lord watches over you— the Lord is your shade at your right hand; 6 the sun will not harm you by day, nor the moon by night. 7 The Lord will keep you from all harm— he will watch over your life; 8 the Lord will watch over your coming and going both now and forevermore.
