MADISONVILLE – Ruth C. Lile, 83, of Madisonville, died Saturday, February 7, 2026 at 6:10AM at her residence. Ms. Lile was born July 1, 1942 in Winston Salem, NC. She was a Homemaker and a member of Green River Chapel Baptist Church. She loved playing golf and playing cards with her friends. She loved taking care of her family and helping in her church. She was preceded in death by her husband, John Lile; mother, Jeanette Baldwin; father, Edwin Wimbish; brothers, Curtis Wimbish, Ronald Wimbish, and Michael Wimbish; and sister, Veronica Wimbish Granville; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Granville and Velma Lile; sisters-in-law, Erma Lile, Pattie Lile Travis, and Jeanette Lile (Jackie) Williams.

She is survived by her sons, Tony (Leslie) Lile and Rusty Lile; sister, Patricia Howell; grandchildren, T.J. Lile, Johnathan (Emily) Lile, Nick Lile, and Jaymee Capps; great-grandchildren, Tristan, Axel, Zander, Karlee, and Zayden; brothers-in-law, Robert Lile, Phillip (Carolyn) Lile; sister-in-law,  Evelyn Lile (Bill) Lovell; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be Thursday, February 12, 2026 at 11AM at Tucker Funeral Home in Central City with Bro. Jewel Martin officiating, assisted by Bro. Brian McElwain and Bro. Larry Shadowen. Burial in Forest Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday from 5-8PM and Thursday after 8AM at the funeral home. Online condolences may be made at www.tuckerfuneralhomes.com.
