Ronnie was a big man with a even bigger heart. He loved his family and was one of the kindest men I've ever known. When we moved here from Dayton he met my daughter Amy at the restaurant she was working at and recognized her because she looked like me when I was young. Of course he had that low baritone voice and asked her if she was my daughter....He had that beard and must have looked like a mountain man to her, since she was raised in the city. She told him yes she was my daughter. She came home and told me a BIG man with a beard wanted to know if she was my daughter. I asked did she get his name and she said no because he was so big, it scared her!! I laughed and said, Amy, it was probably one of my cousins!! About a week later we ran into him at Walmart and she said that's him Moma, that's the man from WK!! He looked at her and said "Hello little girl" Ronnie always being the jokester probably knew he scared her. I introduced them and told her that this was my cousin Ronnie and he was a very sweet man. From then on, Ronnie was one of her best buddies along with Joyce. As Amy got older and married and had Tori, Ronnie and Joyce named her little girl their "Cabbage Patch Baby". They always asked how their Cabbage Patch Baby was. Ronnie was a gentle giant. A man who loved everyone, especially his family. He doted on his Joyce and his sweet Angie. You will will be missed Ronnie. More than you could ever know. You were loved more than you could ever know. Give my Moma a big hug for me when you see her in Heaven. Will always love you.
