BROWDER – Ronnie Howard Drake Jr., 48, of Browder, died Sunday, January 7, 2024 at 8:49AM at Owensboro Health Muhlenberg Community Hospital in Greenville. Mr. Drake was born August 21, 1975 in Muhlenberg County. He was a Heavy Equipment Operator Instructor for Muhlenberg Co. Job Corps and had worked as an underground Coal Miner for 25 years. He loved the Lord; his wife, Amy; daughters, Sophia and Mirada; son-in-law, Noah; and grandson. He loved his mom and dad, father-in-law, sisters, and brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, and nieces and nephews. He loved to hunt and fish, but most of all his family and church. He was preceded in death by his grandparents.

He is survived by his wife, Amy Lynne Drake; daughters, Sophia (Noah) Brooks, Mirada Drake; grandson; mother, Mary Drake; father, Ronnie Drake Sr.; father-in-law, Larry Whitney; mother-in-law, Charlotte Rogers; sisters, Dee (Ron) Mallory, Joy (Justin) Bowles; sisters-in-law, Shannon (Allen) Jarvis, and Beth (Joseph) Lanier; and nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be Wednesday, January 10, 2024 at 11AM at Tucker Funeral Home in Central City with Bro. Vernon Cook officiating and Bro. Jeremy Whitney assisting. Burial in Forest Oak Cemetery.
