May God hold you in the palm of his hands, until we are all together once again.

This is a poem I wrote the day my dad graduated to Heaven Today you left for Heaven, A journey I didn't want you to take. But I know God has plans for you, So I know it's a trip you must make. I wish I could hold your hand and hug you just once more. I wish I could scream at God, asking, "What do you need my dad for?" But tonight I sit quietly starting at the stars, and I take comfort in knowing that's exactly where you are. And although my heart is grieving, and we many miles apart, I know where to find you, I just reach deep within my heart. And when I find you there, the memories come flooding in, And suddenly we are together, laughing once again. But I know the time has come, and it's time for us to part, But Dad you will be forever in my heart! ( I love you dad!!)
