SACRAMENTO – Ronald Nall Kittinger, 79, of Sacramento, died peacefully at his home on Tuesday, August 12, 2025, at 11:55AM. Mr. Kittinger was born September 1, 1945, in Muhlenberg County. He was a lifelong resident of Sacramento, and was an electrician in the coal mines for 60 years. He was also a U.S. Navy veteran. He enjoyed gardening, camping, fishing, and listening to Bluegrass music. He was a kind, loving, and caring person who would always try to help others. He was preceded in death by his mother, Revia Mae Kittinger; father, John Finley Kittinger; and brothers, J.W. Kittinger and Donald Kittinger.
He is survived by his wife, Teressa Corine Brooks Kittinger; children, Tonya Luther and Tammy Kittinger; step-children, Melissa Ecker and Dana (Bleier) Nuspl; nine grandchildren; four great-grandchildren and one on the way; and cousin, Phyllis (Lee) Brooks.
Funeral services will be Friday, August 15, 2025, at 12:00 noon at Sacramento Cumberland Presbyterian Church in Sacramento, with Bro. Kevin Brantley officiating. Burial in Poplar Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday after 10:00AM at the church. Expressions of sympathy may take the form of monetary contributions to his wife, Teressa, per Ronnie’s request.
