GREENVILLE – Rocky Alan Sainato, 68, of Greenville, died Saturday, August 16, 2025 at 10:18 PM under the care of Hospice of Western Kentucky in Owensboro. Mr. Sainato was born September 10, 1956 in Muhlenberg County. He retired as an Electrician from TVA and was a member of First Baptist Church in Greenville. He was an avid fisherman who caught nearly 64,000 fish on his 1,983 fishing trips where he took thorough records of water temperature and fish types. He taught his kids how to do spread sheets. Throughout his cancer journey, he was still helping family and friends with various house projects. He instilled those values in his children. He enjoyed watching Game Shows and was proud of always fixing a problem through watching a YouTube video. His heart was his children. He was preceded in death by his father, Eugene Sainato; stepbrother, Larry Wilson; step-father, Paul Wilson.
He is survived by his son, Nick Sainato (Joe Hart); daughter, Racheal Sainato (Timothy Vincent); mother, Peggy Wilson; and sisters, Mona Vick (Ralph), and Gina Jenkins; and nieces and nephews, Holly Browning (Neil), Robbie Vick, Melanie Vick, and Sena Jenkins (Blake Cabbage).
Graveside services will be Tuesday, August 19, 2025 at 10:00 AM at Evergreen Cemetery in Greenville with Dr. John Galyen officiating. Burial will follow. Online condolences may be made at www.tuckerfuneralhomes.com. Tucker Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
