MORTONS GAP- Reba Joines Horton, 71, of Mortons Gap died October 31, 2018 at Madisonville Health and Rehab in Hopkins County. Ms. Horton was born December 28, 1946 in Central City. She was a homemaker and a member of The River Church in Nortonville. Ms. Horton cherished her memories of her husband, Bobby, who preceded her in death. She also cherished her two sons and grand and great-grandchildren. She also loved Merle Haggard music. She is preceded in death by her husband, Bobby Horton; daughter, Wendy Worley; mother, Betty Joines; father, Herbert Joines; brothers, GW Joines, Benny Joines, Bobby Joines; sister, Dorothy Smith. Survivors include her sons, Bobby Horton Jr. of Southaven, MS, Richard (Cheryl) Horton of Mortons Gap; grandchildren, David, Ricky; great grandchildren, David Jr., Daniel Ray; brother, Glendall Joines; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Sunday, November 4, 2018 at 3:00 PM at Tucker Funeral Home in Central City with Rev. Howard Jones officiating. Burial will follow in Fairmount Cemetery in Central City.
