Thom Faiella left a message on June 18, 2012:
Randy was a real blessing to me. As a child I remember his service to our military, the U.S. Army. I remember the prayers of his mother, who was my aunt and his grandma who was mine too, asking God to protect him as he fought in the Vietnam War. It is a military fact that he was in over 200 gun fights during his deployment. He was a brave man facing what many coward during his days at war. It was a working miracle that he lived through it all. When I began my ministry and marriage, Randy was there to help me face my battles with his prayers and financial support and I know he helped many others beside me. He had a deep love for his mother, father and family in the midst of his suffering side effects of a post war syndrome. He paid a price for freedom for ones like you and me. Randy was laid at rest on a beautiful hillside in western Kentucky with military honor and fond memories. His survivors all look forward to see him again with Jesus, his Lord. Randy was and is a hero with me and others. We all loved him and were proud to know him and greatly appreciative toward his service to our country and Lord. Thank-you Randy!
