There is so many memories of Uncle buddy, but the one that sticks in my mind the most is the way he talked so fast with that southern draw asking if I wanted any madders. It took me about 10 times him saying it for me to catch on he was asking if I wanted any Tomatoes. Boy I always loved when Mom and Dad would stop and get some madders for us. they were the best and latest so long. Uncle Buddy was the best, I just wish we didn't live so far away.
