BEECHMONT – Mildred Delores Pogue, 82, of Beechmont, went to our Lord Feb 3, 2015. Delores was born in Beech Creek, Kentucky, on May 20, 1932, the daughter of Luther Gilbert Minton and Carrie Belle Goodman Minton. She was a homemaker. She is preceded in death by her parents Luther and Carrie, her brother Hewlett Carter of Hammond, Ind. and Sisters, Nellie Stewart of Maplewood, Missouri, Nancy Posey of Beechmont Kentucky. She is survived by her husband of 65 years Marshall Eugene “Strawberry” Pogue of Beechmont, Kentucky; three daughters Delora Jean (Gye) Polk of Sebree, Kentucky, Mary Elizabeth (Ross) Heinzman of Sunrise, Florida and Marsha Kathleen (Ray)Hardin of Madisonville, Kentucky. Grandsons: Anjan (Krista) Sarma, Jared (Dawn) Polk, Matthew Hardin, Ryan Hardin. Granddaughters: Angie Walker, Vanessa Dortch, Sara Heinzman, Audra Heinzman, and great grandchildren: Sarah, Lauren, Tyler, Hannah, Joey, Jaiden, Arya, Aiden, Luca, Liam, and Miles. She is also survived by sisters: Sheila (Charlie) Fowler of Beechmont, Kentucky; Patty Howell St. Louis, Missouri, Angie McClure, St Louis, Missouri and brother Lindel (Gladys) Carter of Potasi, Missouri. And numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be Saturday, February 7, 2015, at 1:00PM at Tucker Beechmont Funeral Home, with Rev. Scott Casebier officiating, assisted by Chaplain Donald Duncan. Burial in Old Jackson Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday after 5:00PM at the funeral home.
