BEECHMONT- Mary Ruth Singleton, 80, of Beechmont died Tuesday, October 14, 2014 at Muhlenberg Community Hospital. Ms. Singleton was born in Leavenworth County in Kansas on April 6, 1934. She was worked as a payroll clerk at TVA and a member of the Presbyterian faith. Ms. Singleton is preceded in death by her husband, Leroy Singleton and her son, Stanley Singleton. Survivors include her daughter, Susan Bruce of Beechmont; son, David Singleton of Beechmont; sister, Kitty Heiberg of Arlington, VA; five grandchildren. Funeral services are private.
