GREENVILLE – Mary Lou Crawford, 89, of Greenville, died Tuesday, January 6, 2015, at 7:28PM at Heartford House in Owensboro. Mrs. Crawford was born December 6, 1925, in Central City. She worked in estates and investments at First National Bank, retiring in 1984. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Central City. She loved UK basketball. She enjoyed quality family time, especially around the holidays. She loved her sons and her grandchildren, but may have loved UK basketball even more. Her passion was making bourbon balls and giving them away. She was preceded in death by her husband, John Crawford; her brother, J.E. Miller; and parents Raymond H. and Maude Miller. Survivors include her sons, Greg (Mimi) Bates of Owensboro and Mark Bates of Evansville, IN; brothers Raymond H. (Bus) Miller of Washington, Bill Miller of Louisville, and Jim Miller of Central City; and grandchildren Melissa Bates, Jonathan Bates, and Evan Bates. Funeral services will be Saturday, January 10, 2015, at 11:00AM at Tucker Funeral Home in Central City, with Rev. Carson Bevil officiating. Burial in Rose Hill Cemetery.
