GREENVILLE – Marvin Harvey “Big Bubba” Knight, 55, of Greenville, died Wednesday, November 26, 2025, at 12:41AM at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital. Mr. Knight was born March 2, 1970, in Hammond, Indiana. He was of the Baptist faith. He loved his daughter, granddaughters, and cats Deckie and Winston. He enjoyed life and would out fish anyone that went fishing with him. If he loved you, he loved you forever.

He was preceded in death by his father, Edward Ray Knight; mother, Stella Steele Knight; brothers, Edward Dean Knight and Paul Ray Knight; and brother-in-law, Rodney Lear.

He is survived by his sisters, Rita McQuady (Ken Strother) and Ellen Lear; step-daughter, Hailey (Andrew) Rushing; granddaughters, Paisley “Pay Pay” Rushing and Maddilynn “Maddie” Rushing; and he was loved by several nieces and nephews.

I've known marvin ever since I waa 10 . Many fond memories of him at beech creek church or just around in genreal. He was always stand up and kind to me and I'm so sad to hear of his passing. My heart and prayers go out to his close family and friends. Rip brother .
