Martha Louise Tooley CENTRAL CITY — Martha Louise Tooley, 86, of 801 River Road, Central City, died at 1:15 p.m. Sunday, March 1, 2009, at Muhlenberg Community Hospital in Greenville. She was born May 20, 1922, in Muhlenberg County. She was a member of Green River Chapel General Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Leroy Tooley, in 1998. Survivors include a son, Robert (Sue) Tooley of Central City; two daughters, Glenda (Ronnie) McDowell and Edith (Jackie) Stirsman, all of Central City; grandchildren Kevin McDowell, Heather Stringer, Melanie Greenwalt, Andrew Stirsman, Melissa Gravot and Ben Tooley; 12 great-grandchildren; and caregivers Judy Chaney, Samantha Chaney and Sunshine Drea. Services are at 1 p.m. Thursday at Tucker Funeral Home in Central City, with the Rev. Jewell Martin officiating and Bro. Jim Brown assisting. Burial will be in Fairmount Cemetery in Central City.
