SACRAMENTO- Josie Lee Dossett, age 93, of Sacramento died Friday, December 16, 2016 at her sons residence in Sacramento. Mrs. Dossett was born October 23, 1923 in Daviess County Ky. She was retired from General Electric where she worked as a laborer, and she was a member of St. Sabastian Catholic Church . She was preceded in death by her husband Jay Dossett, son Kenny Lee Dossett, and a son in law Shelby Johnson. She is survived by her children Sue Johnson, Shirley(Johnny) Whitaker, Terry (Cindy) Dossett, Barry (Mary) Dossett; grandchildren Wayne (Clara) Johnson, Angie (Byron) Johnson, Stacy Whitaker, Jacquelyn Ball, Jessi (Kris) Sullivan, Jacob (Amanda) Coomes, Jason Dossett, Whitney (Derek) Browder; great-grandchildren Jessica, Matthew, Chandler, Addison, Destiny, Logan, Dre, Alania, Lyle; great-great-grandchild Autumn. Funeral services will be Tuesday, December 20, 2016 at 11:00 AM at St. Sebastian Church in Calhoun with Father John Ighacho and Father Josh McCarty officiating. Burial will be in St. Alphonsus Cemetery in St Joseph, KY. Visitation will be Monday from 4:00 – 8:00 PM at Tucker Memorial Chapel in Sacramento.
