GREENVILLE— John Thomas Rose, 82, of Greenville died Saturday, October 11, 2014 at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital. Mr. Rose was born in Muhlenberg County on April 27, 1932. He worked as a self-employed carpenter and was a member of the Baptist faith. He was preceded in death by a son, William Robinson. Survivors include his wife, Shirley Stobaugh Rose; sons, John S. Rose of Central City, Randall Rose of Greenville, Terry Rose of Greenville, Tommy Rose of Greenville; daughters, Linda Day of Belton, Genetta Stanley of Greenville; 12 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren. Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, October 14, 2014 at 10:00 AM at Tucker Funeral Home in Central City. Visitation will be Monday, October 13, 2014 at 5:00 PM at the funeral home. .
