Pat, So sorry we missed hearing about Joe's passing until tonight. We regret not being there today to let you know how much we thought of Joe and what a dear friend he was. You are in our thoughts and prayers.
Pat, We enjoyed knowing Joe and having him around as one of the Western Kentuckians at the Wellington. We were so saddened to hear of his passing. With deepest sympathy during this time, Steve and Nancy Abney
We are so sorry to hear of Joe's passing. Our thoughts and prayers are with you. Dennis & Cherene
I am so sorry for your loss. Prayers.
Pat There is no way to fully express my deep feelings for your loss. Over the past several years Joe became a very close and dear friend of mine. Joe was perpetually optimistic. Even when struggling with failing health Joe was always truly interested and compassionate about the needs of others. His sense of humor and wit made it virtually impossible for one not to feel better when in his presence. I will miss my dear friend Joe. Chuck
Peace of mind is a call away. We’re here when you need us most.
Dear Pat, Terry and I both have such sweet memories of Joe. One especially has stayed with me for many years, it happened at the family restuarant shortly after we came to serve in Greenville. The waitress obviously was having health issues. Joe tuned right into this and before we left the restuarant had convinced her to see a doctor, at his expense. I have never forgotten that act both of perception and kindness. Joe would bluster, tease, and engage anyone in conversation, so some folks may not have known how sensitive and caring he was to others. In fact, I think he saw more deeply into the lives of others than anyone knew, a whole lot like our Lord Jesus Christ. Terry and I are praying for you and the family. Grief is a bumpy road, but the celebration of Joe's life with your faith, family and friends will carry you over the roughest patches. Love and Prayers, Carolyn and Terry

Charlie and I were friends with Joe for 50+ years. The stories those two could tell and the laughter we all enjoyed was so much fun. They are probably retelling some of those stories in heaven right now. Pat, I pray for comfort for you and your family during this sad time. I know how difficult it is but I know you have wonderful loving memories to sustain you. God bless.
So sorry to hear. Praying for peace and understanding in your life.

To Pat; We loved Joe as much as a friend could love anyone. Over 50 years ago I worked for Joe in the Gambles store in Greenville. From there I got to know his father and mother. There was never a finer couple then the two. Joe and his family were people that as soon as you saw them they were friends. It seemed that friendship illuminated them when they walked in a room. Pat, Dianne and I loved you and Joe and when we meet each other in Heaven we will rock the hillsides with shouting and joy.
such a wonderful person, I hate to see him leave. Sorry pat
