BREMEN – Jeremy Ismet Walker, age 10, of Bremen, died Sunday, November 15, 2015, at 8:38PM at Vanderbilt Children’s Hospital in Nashville. Jeremy was born July 27, 2005, in Greenville. He had a strong will and a passion for being in the spotlight whenever he could be. He loved sports, video games, and radio controlled cars and planes. He loved to read comic books and build things with lego blocks. He always had a smile on his face and made people laugh. He was a very loving and happy child, and was very considerate to his siblings. He was a good student and was a member of the Beta Club. He was a cast member of The Princess and the Pea, and played the character Jester. He was a member of Eagle Express in Bremen, and was good with his X-box. He was loved by all and made a major impact on the community. He had lots of friends, and his passing has left an enormous hole that cannot be filled. He will be greatly missed. He is survived by his parents, Michael and Betul Walker of Bremen; sister Melisa Comertpay of Bremen; brother Jonathan Deniz Walker of Bremen; grandparents Elmer E. and Vivian A. Walker of Greenville and Ismet and Fadime Gul of Adana, Turkey; aunts Ulka Gul, Canan Abi, Asiye Akca, and Hatice Okeli; and uncles Steven S. Walker, Mustafa Gul, and Keith D. Walker. Funeral services will be Saturday, November 21, 2015, at 2:00PM at Tucker Funeral Home in Central City, with Rev. Leroy Rearden officiating.
