GREENVILLE – Jason Cory Sweeney, age 40, of Greenville, died Monday, April 15, 2013 at 11:05PM in Powderly. Mr. Sweeney was born March 4, 1973 in Muhlenberg County. He was a miner. He was preceded in death by his parents, Gail Sweeney and Drema Sweeney Evitts. Survivors include a son, Skyler Sweeney; sister Leigh Ward of Central City; uncle Allen (Tammy) Mercer of Central City; two aunts Cindy Mercer of Greenville and Phyllis (Ronnie) Chandler of Greenville. Funeral services will be Friday, April 19, 2013 at 11:00 A.M. at Tucker Funeral Home in Central City, with Rev. Jeremy Teague officiating. Visitation will be Thursday after 5:00PM at the funeral home. Online condolences may be made at www.tuckerfuneralhomes.com.
