Sacramento – James Gray Sr., 79, of Sacramento, died Saturday. October 4, 2025, at 6:16a.m. at Riverside Nursing and Rehab in Calhoun. Mr. Gray was born August 12, 1946, in Central City. He was a boiler maker for TVA and he was a member of the Bethlehem Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents, Harold and Opal Gray; and siblings, Harold Edward Gray, George Gray, and Shirley Frizzell.

He is survived by his wife, Mary Gray; his siblings, Clatie Bean, and Kenneth Gray; his four children; seven grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

Graveside services will be Monday, October 6, 2025, at 11a.m. at Shavers Cemetery in Sacramento, with Bro. Leroy Rearden officiating. Online condolences may be made at www.tuckerfuneralhomes.com.
