BOONVILLE, IN – James Gordon Vincent, 86, of Boonville, IN, died Thursday, May 5, 2011 at 3:00AM at his home. Mr. Vincent was born June 30, 1924 in Muhlenberg County. He was a car salesman and member of Friendship Missionary Baptist Church. He was a US Army veteran, serving during WW II. He was preceded in death by his son, Kenny Vincent. Survivors include his wife, Retha Snodgrass Vincent; sons Ronnie (Margi) Vincent of Boonville and Dannie (Mary) Vincent of Boonville; daughter Shirley (Steve) Shoemaker of Boonville; grandchildren Valerie (Jon) France, Janelle (Drew) Kulsveen, Tim (Amy) Shoemaker, Justin (Amanda) Vincent, and Amy Shoemaker; six great-grandchildren; and a sister Lillian Edwards of Michigan.
