BEECH CREEK – James Harding Jackson, 91, of Beech Creek, died Thursday, April 25, 2013 at 4:35AM at Kindred Nursing and Rehab in Greenville. Mr. Jackson was born May 31, 1921 in Muhlenberg County. He was a retired coal miner and member of Ebenezer Missionary Baptist Church. He was an U.S. Army Air Forces veteran. He was preceded in death by his son, James Larry Jackson. Survivors include his wife, Mazola Melton Jackson; son Donnie Joe Jackson of Drakesboro; daughter Rita Jackson of Greenville; grandchildren Kristie (Denny) Stewart of Belton, Scott (Marsha) Jackson of Browder; and Michael Jackson of Greenville; great-grandchildren Justin Stewart, Dylan Stewart, Dawson Stewart, Emily Jackson, Harley Jackson, Grace Jackson, and Matthew Jackson; and brother, Earnest Paul Jackson of Greenville. Funeral services will be Saturday, April 27, 2013 at 1:00PM at Ebenezer Baptist Church in Drakesboro, with Rev. Scott Casebier officiating. Burial in Ebenezer Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday after 5:00PM at Tucker Beechmont Funeral Home. Mr. Jackson will lie in state at Ebenezer Baptist Church on Saturday from 11:00AM – 1:00PM.
