SACRAMENTO – James “Jimmy” Carroll Igleheart, 82, of Sacramento died Monday, January 12, 2026 at 1:40PM at Baptist Health Deaconess in Madisonville. Mr. Igleheart was born July 12, 1943 in Sacramento. He was a member of Sacramento United Methodist Church and a U.S. Army Veteran.  He was a Magistrate for several years in the Southwest District. He was a Farmer who enjoyed working on equipment and taking care of livestock. He loved fishing with his son and he adored his grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his brothers, Murtry Igleheart, Jr., and Gerald Igleheart; sister, Virginia Barnett; and son-in-law, Chad Atherton.

He is survived by his wife, Donella Igleheart; son, Donald (Brenda) Igleheart of Sacramento; daughters, Christy (Allan) Murray of Livermore, and Debra (Justin) McClure of Bowling Green; grandchildren, Matthew Murray, Ethan Murray, Thomas Murray, Bailey Igleheart, Madison Igleheart, Cole Igleheart, Sydney Atherton, Shelby Atherton, Brandon McClure, Brooke McClure, and Benjamin McClure; and six great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be Friday, January 16, 2026 at 1PM at Tucker Memorial Chapel in Sacramento, with Bro. Jesse Johnson officiating. Burial in Sacramento United Methodist Church Cemetery.
