Daddy,

I wish I could find the words to express how terribly bad I miss you already. I feel as though I'm walking in a dream right now. I want you back so bad but I'm overjoyed that you are in paradise with our lord and with Keith and Mamaw and your brothers and sister. You will never leave my heart I love you so very much and I look forward to the day that I'll see you again.

I love you
Jarrod

So sorry to hear of J.W's passing. I had not seen or talked to him in years but remember what a good person and police officer he was. The community and his family have suffered a great loss but everyone can only hope to leave a legacy such as his. He always stood tall and proud.

J.W. was my Sargent at Post 03 in Bowling Green. He would always head back toward his home early in his shift and would ride with me a lot in Logan County. We had a lot of fun together. We looked for parts for his 1972 gold Chev. pickup truck and he liked looking in old buildings for old door knobs and other hardware. He was a troopers trooper. He will be missed.
