CENTRAL CITY – Ida Jean Ford Jett, 83, of Central City, died Monday, February 13, 2012 at 2:10PM at Owensboro Medical Health System. Mrs. Jett was born December 30, 1928 in Martwick, Kentucky. She was a member of Cedar Grove Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, Aaron and Margaret Durham; first husband, Henry L. Ford; late husband, James Jett; son, Terry Ford; and step-daughter, Sherry Whitaker. Survivors include her son, Jack (Darlene) Ford of Homer Glen, Illinois; grandchildren Justin (Lauren) Ford, Nathan (Rachel) Ford, and Nicole Ford; great-grandchildren Reanna Beckley, Ian Jean Groves, and Aniella Ford; step-daughters Michelle (Robert) Piper and Vickie (Ronnie) Shelton; step-granddaughters Jennifer (Tim) Morgan and Jaymie Brewer; sisters Jerry Rose and Sue (Joe) Ramirez; special niece, Belinda Rose; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be Thursday, February 16, 2012 at 11:00AM at Tucker Funeral Home in Central City, with Rev. Cody Crowell officiating. Burial in Rose Hill Cemetery.
