CENTRAL CITY – Hollis David Bullock, 53, of Central City, died Saturday, January 1, 2022, at 4:49PM at his residence.  Hollis was born January 16, 1968, in Greenville and was a member of New Hope Baptist Church.  His primary trade in life was in the sawmill and logging industry.  He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and spending time with his friends and family.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Sam and Wandalene Bullock; grandparents, Love and Kate Bullock and William and Maggie Carnithan; brothers, Clark (Jewell) Bullock, Billy (Evenda) Bullock, Eddie Bullock, and infant Henry Louis Bullock; sister, infant Shirley Mae Bullock; and brother-in-law, Carl Rhodes.

He is survived by his brother, Gearld (Rhonda) Bullock; sister-in-law, Lois Bullock; sisters, Rachel Rhodes, Sue (Freddie) Geary, Luticia (Kevin) Koper, and Mary (Aric Trent) Arnold; and several nieces and nephews.

Memorial services will be Thursday, January 6, 2022, at 1:00PM at New Hope Church Fellowship Hall, with Rev. Troy Slinker officiating.  Visitation will be Thursday at 12:00 noon at the church fellowship hall.  All friends and family are welcome.  Tucker Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.  Online condolences may be made at www.tuckerfuneralhomes.com.

Hollis was a good man. He has been a part of our family since I can remember. As kids, I can remember having many bond fires in his yard and snow sliding down ricks hill in Moorman. Any time anyone needed anything, Hollis was one of the first ones to be there to help. He was a good man. I love Hollis like a brother. I remember when he got out of rehab, we both were so excited that for once we were both sober together for the first time in our lives. I am going to miss you Bub. I love you. Love always , Dalleta
