George C. Rudolph 1/11/2009 CENTRAL CITY — George C. Rudolph, 89, of 400 Cedar St., Central City, died Friday, Jan. 9, 2009, at MCH in Greenville. He was born Oct. 14, 1919, in Warrick, Ind. He was a welder, coal miner, member of Green River Chapel General Baptist Church and a Navy veteran. Survivors include his wife, Joyce F. Rudolph of Central City; two sons, Gary (Hilda) Rudolph of Brewton, Ala., and Gerrill Butch (Brenda) Rudolph of Greenville; two stepsons, Timothy (Ruth Ann) Vincent of Murfreesboro, Tenn., and James Jamie (Michelle) Vincent of Central City; two daughters, Vicki (Dale) King of Jacksonville, Fla., and Terri (Gary) Brown of Central City; 15 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren. Memorial services are at 1 p.m. today at Green River General Baptist Church, with the Rev. Jewel Martin officiating. Donations may be made to Green River Chapel Building Fund. Tucker Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
