Sorry about your loss. Would be there but it is tough times for both sides of the family. In life a person faces things that many should not face. Whether it be the death of a friend, loved one, or just death itself. It is something that changes you forever and sometimes it can make you feel like it is overwhelming. But we are not to give up but just push through. Times may be tough but this is life and no one said life is easy. Every time a person thinks they are alone this is not true God sends his angels to watch over you. Death is not forever it is just goodbye for a little while. This is something that never changes even though we wish it did. Goodbyes are never easy and I am sure it will never change. Death is a path that parts but not forever just until the paths meet again.
