BELTON – Evalene Knight, 90, of Belton, Kentucky died Thursday, November 29, 2012 at Magnolia Village Care Center, Bowling Green, Kentucky. She was born May 13, 1922, to the late Maymee E. Galloway Knight and Cecil Lee Knight. She was a member of Forest Oak Missionary Baptist Church for 77 years, where she served as church pianist and treasurer for many years. She was a graduate of Hughes-Kirkpatrick High School and Drones Business College in Nashville, Tennessee. She worked for Central City Coca-Cola and retired from TVA. Miss Knight was preceded in death by her sister, Imogene Knight and brother, Howard G. Knight, two nephews Howard Ray Knight and Kenneth Knight. She is survived by her sister, Maymee Lee (Carl) Pendley, and her nieces Karyl Lu (Phil) Libs, Glenda (Victor) Friday, and Betty (Glenn) Stocker; her nephews Bruce (Barbara) Knight and Tommy (Susan) Pendley. She is also survived by several great nieces and nephews. Funeral services for Miss Knight will be at Forest Oak Missionary Baptist Church on Monday, December 3, 2012 at 1:00PM, conducted by Rev. Gene McGehee assisted by Rev. Don Piper. Burial will be in Forest Oak Cemetery, Belton. Visitation will be Sunday after 5:00PM at Tucker Beechmont Funeral Home.
