My name is Dave Johnson. I worked with Ed at Hans Freightliner for a number of Years. I feel like I know you all, because Ed would always talk about his family. He always talked about his grandkids, and his involvement with 4H. He would talk about going to Grandpas Cheese Barn with Bobbie on the weekend, so every time I see an add for the place, I think of your dad/Grandpa. I am sure he will be missed. Sorry for your lose.

Vicki, Michael, Nancy & Family - Sending my heartfelt sympathy. I admired your Dad for the support he always gave your Mom for her extensive involvement as a 4-H volunteer over many years, and the support he always gave you with your 4-H projects. He was often the "wind beneath your wings". I counted on him for many years as an interview judge of 4-H projects, especially with his expertise in small engines and woodworking. He interacted with the kids so well, making the judging a learning experience as well as an evaluation.

I am so sorry to hear of your Dad's passing. He was always a quiet behind the scenes kind of guy. I still have my game that he taught us to make when we were in Brownies...a wooden 2x4 that he showed us how to sand and then to use a hand drill to put holes for golf tees in a triangle formation.
You will be in my prayers. May you find peace and comfort through your memories of your best days together.
