WHITE PLAINS – Edna Marie Scott, 79, of White Plains, died Sunday, September 26, 2021, at 8:28AM at her home.  Mrs. Scott was born August 7, 1942, in Henderson County.  She worked at Cobbs Cap Board Mill.  She was preceded in death by her first husband, M.C. Cobb; second husband, David Kemble; sons Melvin Cobb and Bruce Cobb; daughter Loretta Cobb; and grandchildren Ronnie Stanley Jr. and April Cobb.

She is survived by her husband, William E. “Buddy” Scott; daughters Jeanette (Ronnie) Stanley, Beverly (Floyd) Steele, Larlee (D.D.) Linville, Ginger (Earl) Putman, Beverly (Seth) Spears, Candy (Larry) Schultz, and Julia (Jason) Camplin; son Paul Scott; nine grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and brothers Darrell Massey and Tracy Massey.

Funeral services will be Wednesday, September 29, 2021, at 1:00PM at Tucker Funeral Home in Central City, with Rev. Floyd Steele officiating.  Burial in Yeargins Chapel Cemetery.  Visitation will be Wednesday after 9:00AM at the funeral home.  The family requests that everyone in attendance wear a face mask.  The family requests that if you do not wear a face mask, please do not enter the funeral home for this visitation or service.  Online condolences may be made at www.tuckerfuneralhomes.com.
