DAWSON SPRINGS – Earl Ray Pointer, Jr., 57, died Saturday, September 13, 2025 at 11:07PM at Greenwood Nursing Home in Bowling Green. Mr. Pointer was born November 22, 1967 in Greenville. He was a member of Church Street Baptist Church. He enjoyed fishing and loved the Philadelphia Eagles football, celebrating their Super Bowl win last year. He liked to drink coffee and play cards until early in the morning. He loved his family more than anything, especially his grand-babies. He was preceded in death by his parents, Earl Ray Pointer, Sr., and Alice Faye Pointer; and daughter, Annie Rose Pointer.

He is survived by his sons, Dakota Ray Pointer, and Raylen Pointer; daughter, Trinity Pointer; sisters, Teresa Nunley, and Shelia Pointer; brother, Billy Pointer; wife, Christa Pointer; grandchildren, Brooklynn Hampton, and Ezekiel Pointer; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be Wednesday September 17, 2025 at 11AM at Tucker Funeral Home in Central City with Bro. Danny Greene officiating. Burial in Fairmount Cemetery.
