My sincere and heartfelt condolences to the Bard family that God's divine love and grace comfort you today, tomorrow, and in the days to come. Brother Donald was a dear and beloved long time friend. He drove the church van or his personal car for many years taking the saints to Memphis for the COGIC Holy Convocation. When help was needed to set up for tent revivals, he made himself available. He willingly picked up the saints to bring them to church and drove the church van to carry the saints to many nightly revivals. Whatever and wherever he was needed to work in the church he made himself available. Brother Donald was also a very kind and caring person. He gave looking for nothing in return except agood home cooked meal. He had a Christ like spirit like none other. He loved the mothers of the church and brought them flowers every Mother's day. He also loved children, and he always had an encouraging word for them. When my children became adults he still asked about them; how they were doing and noting a fond memory of them doing something in the church. Brother Donald loved God, the Word of God, and the saints. We will truly miss him 💔 but will take comfort in knowing to be absent in the body is to be present with the Lord. Take your well deserved rest Brother Donald. We will see you in the morning. ❤️ 🙌
