David is one of the finest gentleman that I have ever known. You notice. of course. that I used the "present" tense, "is" , not past tense, "was". You see, I firmly believe that David is alive, well and whole and with our Savior, Jesus Christ.

Some of my favorite memories of attending Belton Beechmont General Baptist Church feature David earnestly sharing his testimonies of faith. Here is this solid, "rock" of a man, who one might think would be hesitant to put his emotions on display. However, when it came to his Jesus, David was entirely comfortable letting people see and feel the intensity of his deep faith. His tears would flow and his voice sometimes quivered, but no one in this house of the Lord could doubt the sincerity and power of his beliefs which were woven into the stories he shared.

Because of his ability to be humble and even vulnerable in sharing his deep faith, David is an inspiration. May we all walk a more energized walk with our God and Lord Jesus for having known you, David Robertson. You have left quite a magnificent legacy. Thank you.
