I know there were things that you struggled with and I am so thankful for the times that you allowed me inside the barriers you so strongly built around yourself. You were so full of life and energy! I will never forget when David would get on the bus and sit with me. We would mostly talk about school. I remember asking him what he did in school and he would reply: sleep! So I would proceed to encourage him to not sleep and to do his work. After couple of weeks after getting picked after school on the bus ride home he said to me, I didn't sleep today so I ask him what he did and he replied: I did all of my work with a big smile on his face, so I praised him for that. There were many times after that he would get on the bus and tell me he did his work but few times in between he slept, lol. He was always so respectful to me and the bus driver. I will never forget you David RIP young man.

I will never forget when David would get on the bus and sit with me. We would mostly talk about school. I remember asking him what he did in school and he would reply: sleep!
