CENTRAL CITY – David Anthony “Tony” Abshire, 57, of Central City, died Saturday, March 23, 2013 at 1:55PM at his home. Mr. Abshire was born January 12, 1956 in Muhlenberg County to Carl and Margaret Shoulders Abshire. He was a welder and boilermaker at TVA, and was a Church of Christ member. Survivors include his sons, David Lee Abshire and Dillon Abshire; grandchildren Hannah, Gwen, and Gavin Abshire; and brothers and sisters Richard Abshire, Michael Abshire, Nell Bowman, Linda Abshire, Sharon Staton, and Donna Shepherd. Hey guy's so sorry for your lost. No matter what remember he was a good guy . Of course you know he and I went to school together. I hadn't seen him for a long time after we got out of school and one day I had a flat and he stop and help me fix it. Jesse's my son was working on a job and can home telling a joke of course I can't tell you the joke. When he said who told him I said well I should have known.
