SACRAMENTO – Danny Ray Gibson, 66, of Sacramento, died Monday, November 18, 2024 at 5:48AM at Baptist Health Deaconess in Madisonville. Mr. Gibson was born in Carlisle County, KY on August 20, 1958. He was of the Christian faith and was a retired Truck Driver. He loved riding his horses on the weekends at Wrangler campgrounds. He also enjoyed hunting, fishing, riding his mule, “Otis”, and watching “Andy Griffith” and “King of the Hill”. He spent much time exploring with his grandchildren on his side-by-side. He loved to pick on people and loved to be picked on. He will certainly be missed by his family and loving wife of 45 years. He was preceded in death by his parents, Bobby Ray Gibson and Roselyn Carol Gibson.
He is survived by his wife, Laquita Devine Gibson; daughters, Amanda (Evan) France of Bremen, Kristen Gibson of Murray, and Madison Gibson of Sacramento; grandchildren, Torie France, Jayden (Mason) Corn, Kaiden Piercefield, Ashton France, Jace France, and Lauren Jessup; great-grandchild, Ariat Corn; a brother; and two nephews.
Funeral services will be Wednesday, November 20, 2024 at 1PM at Tucker Funeral Home in Central City with Bro. Curis McGehee officiating. Burial in New Harmony Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday from 10AM-1PM at the funeral home. Online condolences may be made at www.tuckerfuneralhomes.com.
