Her son, Josh, was my best friend in elementary school and I spent a lot of time over at his house growing up. Dana was always so kind and sweet and I always felt like she cared for me as much as she did her own children when I was visiting. To a certain degree, Dana felt like another mom to me. I'm so sorry to hear of her passing.
I will always remember their house being the first place I ever spent the night when I was about 5 or 6 years old. I had gotten homesick and went to Dana to let her know that I wanted to go home and she was super sweet and took me home that night. I will always cherish the memories I had of her growing up.
