CENTRAL CITY – Curtis Morton Jones, 64, of Central City, died Tuesday, December 15, 2015, at his home. Mr. Jones was born July 10, 1951, in Muhlenberg County. He was owner and operator of G & G Welding, and a member of The Crossing Church. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and friend to many. He was preceded in death by his parents, Buck Eldred Jones and Wanda Jean Gunterman; and sister Nelda Jean Adcock. He is survived by his wife, Kathy Terry Jones of Central City; sons William Eldred Jones of Cedar Hill, TN and Curtis Michael (Jennifer) Jones of Drakesboro; grandchildren Elizabeth Ann Jones of Central City and Kaylee October Fleming of Drakesboro; sister Charlotte (Larry) Shrodes of Drakesboro; brothers Lowell Thomas (the late Joyce) Jones and William Anthony (Gloria) Gunterman, both of Rochester; step-father James William Gunterman of Rochester; brothers-in-law Ernest Adcock and Tim “Titus” (Tammy) Terry; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be Saturday, December 19, 2015, at 12:00 noon at Tucker Funeral Home in Central City, with Bro. Ron Noffsinger officiating. Burial in Rose Hill Cemetery.
