GREENVILLE – Clarice Lavern Lock, 77, of Greenville, died Thursday, November 19, 2020, at 9:00PM under the care of Hospice of Western Kentucky. Mrs. Lock was born September 13, 1943, in Muhlenberg County. She was a homemaker and member of Pond Run Missionary Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, Liggett and Loretta Ray; husband Gerald “Buddy” Lock; and son Gerald Ray Lock. She is survived by her son, Jeff (Leesa) Lock; daughters Sandy Browning (the late Roger Browning) and Deanna (Adam) Brown; grandchildren Mandy (Brad) Gibson, April (Phillip) Hill, Preston Lock, Cierra Lock, Logan (Janie) Brown, and Breanna Brown; great-grandchildren Hayden Hill, Cayson Hill, Destry Miller, Rylan Gibson, Chelsea (Cole) Oldham, and Justin Gibson; great-great-grandchildren Raiyden Lock, Myla Lock, Jaiyden Geary, and Jaxon Lock; and brother Terry Ray. So sorry to hear of Lavernes passing. Unfortunately we had not seen her in several years. Back when I was growing up, I used to go to Aunt Loretta and Uncle Busters and Laverne would be there with baby girl Sandy. I kind of grew up with Sandy but am older than she. I loved loved loved being around them all. One of my favorite relatives to visit. She is now cradled in the arms of Jesus, pain free.
