ROCKPORT – Clarence Edward Durall, Sr., 77, of Rockport, died Tuesday, June 6, 2023, at University of Louisville Hospital.  Mr. Durall was born April 23, 1946, in Muhlenberg County.  He was an assembly line worker for Ford Motor Co. in Chicago, IL, and a member of Pleasant View Baptist Church in McQuady, KY.  He loved going to church and he loved the Lord.  After retiring, Mr. Durall moved to Kentucky and opened a bait shop which he loved, and he enjoyed seeing all the people that came into his shop.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Steve and Mattie Durall; brothers, Junior Steve Durall and Benny Durall; and sisters, Wilene Hagar and Martha Mae Gill.

He is survived by his children, Rebecca Durall and Sara (Matthew) Moore; grandchild, Peter David Moore; sister, Betty Bowles; brother, Billy Joe (Janet) Durall; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be Saturday, June 10, 2023, at 11:00AM at Tucker Funeral Home in Central City, with Pastor Dale Massengale officiating.  Burial in Yeargins Chapel Cemetery in Graham.  Visitation will be Friday from 5-8PM at the funeral home.  Online condolences may be made at www.tuckerfuneralhomes.com.
