Doris McElwain Tines left a message on September 17, 2012:
To the family of Ms. Clara Mae, It was a blessing for me to know her. She taught my granddaughter in Sunday school when we would visit Browder church. Shaina loved her dearly & no matter who else taught her in whatever church, she still would tell everyone that Ms. Pogue was her teacher, even in her home church. I as well as Shaina was saddened to know that Ms. Pogue was not doing well in the days past. We will miss her smile & kindness. Aunt Sarah has grieved over her illness & will miss her best friend so much but has said to me that the Lord was ready for her to come home & to suffer no more. Thank you Patsy for keeping Aunt Sarah informed of her condition for these many months. I am not good at writing these type of things, I am always afraid I might say the wrong thing. Just know that I write from my heart & out of love to a very special Lady & her family. My prayers are with you today & throughout this difficult time. Love, Doris
