CENTRAL CITY- Charlotte Ann Pendley (Tanner), 67 of Central City passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by her loved ones on October 5, 2022. Born August 21,1955 to Ernestine and Chuck Tanner. She was preceded in death by her grandparents Lorene and Altha Vincent, parents Ernestine and Chuck Tanner, brothers Michael Merdock Tanner and Ronald Wayne Tanner and nephew Michael Bratcher.

Charlotte was known as a strong, caring woman who was always smiling and making sure everyone around her felt loved. She never met a stranger, always had kind words for everyone and had the most contagious laughter one could ever hear. She enjoyed crocheting and spending time with her family and all the kids that she loved like her own grandchildren, that loved her for always welcoming them into her home. She always had a soft spot for animals and loved her fur babies Minnie and Cali.

She is survived by her daughter Stacy Pendley (Robbie Smith), granddaughter Harley Smith, grandson Matt Smith (Kiyomi), sister Lisa Bratcher (Mike) and Mona Tanner, brothers Alton Basco (Reba), Brandy Tanner and Mike Tanner, several nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be Wednesday, October 12, 2022 at 2 pm at Tucker Funeral Home in Central City. Burial at Rose Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday, October 11,2022 at 5pm at the funeral home. Online condolences can be made at www.tuckerfuneralhomes.com.
