My sweet Gail was sent to me like an angel from God. She loved us and our children through all their childhood. She was a large part of our family. I always referred to her as the other mother. She loved our children and protected them like a mother cub. She taught us all how to love unconditionally. I am so thankful she was in my life.

Gail was the wife of my BEST BUD/PAL since 5th grade Ronald J. Gregory(JOE). Gail always thought of others more than her self which was apparent and in evidence each and every time my wife (Fayetta) and I visited them or they visited us and when I would come home (ie visit Kentucky by myself on a few occasions) because of Methodist Men's functions in Nashville, or a class re-union she always made me feel as if her home was my home. I am saddened that I will not be present for her funeral . My heart is breaking. Gail helped raise me from the time I was 3 until I had my own children. She read books, and curled my hair on Saturday nights. She listened when I had fights with friends. She taught me to bake cookies and soupy potatoes. We would lay in the grass and look at the shapes of the clouds. To say thank you for all she did to help me be the person I am is not enough. And yet, I rejoice. Gail is not hurting. She is with the Father in heaven! She is seeing the face of the savior and hearing the angels sing! And so I cry, for me, and all of those who loved her, but I smile that she is in a place of wholeness and rest.
